I never hit behind the line, except the last three hits. Also, I hit about 2 inches in front of it every time prior to that...great technique.

I get what you’re doing but ever swing is so fucking inconsistent it just teaches people to swing and hope rather than knuckle down on the fundamental of consistency

It’s funny, I got the same chipping lesson from Bob Toski when I moved to the States 15 years ago.

Frankly, I think my 74 yr old body moves in odd ways. What I am interested in is a focus on the club and the clubface, not my body.

Awsome golf video. I'll try 3 to 8 on the golf course tomorrow for the entire round. Will this 3 to 8 work with a 5 iron and up to include my hybrids and 5 and 3 wood? You make golf so simple, thanks again!

I like this easy drill. I've attempted to use that position at impact and have hit some fantastic straight shots. But then I began shanking the ball so I reverted to my straighter right wrist at impact with much less accuracy. I just wonder where the shanks came from.

Stack & Tilt is the best method to get great ball striking.

I use bbq Ash on my rubber practice balls. When i hit them in the net.

New sub, really like your teaching, my problem is because so much weight is on my lead foot at address that I find my self shifting back on my trail foot through impact, do you have a good drill to help correct this..

Gave this device at least 5 opportunities on the range only to realize a WASTE of time. Disappointed! CON 1: Can't get feel like a traditional club because almost weight of 2 clubs means limited practice because the weight fatigues you on backswings. CON 2: Click sound too quiet so usually don’t know if it clicks or not so it's difficult to gauge if swinging properly. If it does click the sound usually drowned out at impact. I set the mechanism at my swing speed (70 mph) but it didn’t matter. CON 3: When can hear the click the results inconsistent. Some shots I slice but it clicked anyways? Some shots flush down the middle but no click? Makes no sense. CON 4: Yes, training video offers solutions for those with hook or slicing issues. But for us golfers who do BOTH equally - there is no advice in training video therefore useless!

I have a neutral grip but my shots go left. Would it help if I opened the club face slightly at set up?

Great Video Jess! I agree it's good to have a system and a plan. Everyone will have their own unique idiosyncrasies but in general having a road map to follow is a good thing.

Long time seasoned player here. I thought my high draw ball fight days were a thing of the past. The turning, tilting and extending that is done during this drill is now a part of my warm up and has helped my swing a great deal. Adding a 45* wrist hinge to this action has poured rocket fuel on my game. I play sparingly, not scoring great but respectable and back to hitting a lot of quality shots. Thanks Jess for keeping it real, simple and it works! 🏌️

"Weight forward, shoulder down, arms straight"... just getting back into the game after twenty plus years of not swinging a club... my first round back I hacked up the course trying to hit the ball the way I thought was correct... found your channel along with Tom Sanuto's channel... my third round putting into practice the simple swing thoughts of "weight forward, shoulder down, and arms straight"... the group I was playing with thought I was a low handicapper taking it easy on them... No, I didn't hit it perfect on every shot but I held my own... game changer is not an overstatement...

Jess, thanks for all the great info. I’ve noticed neither yourself nor Tom Saguto lift your left heel off the ground in the backswing. Before I converted to S&T my left heel would come up in the backswing. When I converted it seemed like the right thing to do keep that heel down. Now I’m not so sure. What are your thoughts on lifting the left heel in the backswing? I experimented with it and it seems to free up my backswing but if it’s a rabbit hole I don’t want to go down, let’s figure that out now. Thank you in advance.
